The S285 hybrid turbocharger upgrade for the Mk2 Puma and MK8 Fiesta ST is a direct-bolt-on replacement for the factory turbocharger. It features a number of performance-enhancing upgrades, including:
 
A larger billet compressor wheel with extended tip technology.
A larger high-flowing turbine wheel
Significant modifications to the compressor housing, including advanced machining for ‘anti-surge ports’, CNC re-profiling to match the upgraded compressor wheel, and a bell-mouth intake tract
CNC re-profiling of the turbine housing for the larger turbine wheel
An all-new bearing and shaft system, designed specifically for this application
Increased journal and stub shaft diameters for greater durability
A TT-designed journal bearing
A TT-designed 360° thrust bearing assembly
Modification of the bearing housing for the TT turbine and a new heat shield design
A TT-designed seal plate, machined from billet
Modification of the compressor clamp disc to match the TT seal plate
A TT-designed upgraded heat shield and clamp arrangement to suit the turbine wheel upgrade
Balancing of the core assembly to high speed on a Turbo Technics VSR® balancing machine

There are three ways to purchase this turbocharger:
 
Refurbished Unit Exchange Basis (send turbo after)
 
You will pay the same price as the outright purchase, but we will refund you £482.50+vat surcharge when you return your old standard turbocharger.
 
Refurbished Unit Exchange Basis (send turbo before)
 
You will have to return your old standard turbocharger to us before we send your exchanged hybrid out. You can return your old turbocharger within 30 days of placing your order.
 
Brand New Unit Outright Purchase
 
You can purchase a brand new turbocharger outright. This option is the most expensive, but it also comes with the longest warranty.
