OC Motorsport - MK7 ST180 LOWER TORQUE MOUNT RRP £129.99
 
Supplied as a Polyurethane bush and CNC machined bracket combination, the Yellow bush material suits fast road usage.
Replaces the Original Part – You only need to remove the metal bracket from your original and install onto this one.
With a minimal increase in NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness), reduced wheel hop and a more direct transition of power to the road, it is suitable for standard and tuned vehicles.
The differences it makes completely change the car. You’ll find that it puts the power down better with less wheel hop, the gear changes become more responsive and the driveline becomes tighter. We picked a compound of polyurethane that stiffens up the mount without being too harsh like some others on the market.

OC Motorsport Short Shift Kit. Reduce your stock shift throws - With a choice of 2 positions this part changes the pivot point of the gear selector reducing the throw of the gear lever.
 
This results in the gear lever having to move a shorter travel to select gear thus speeding up those important shifts. It feels loads better and just feels right and how they should have come from the factory.
 
With two different positions, ranging from 15% or 25% Shorter. Offering 2-positions truly allows the user more options to fine tune their shift throws!
 
Quick and easy installation process the stock shift weight does not need to be removed. This saves time and makes the installation quick and easy.
 
  • Made from CNC machined aluminum with OC Motorsport logo

Remove gear selector cable from original shifter, using long nose pliers or mole grips
Install top section of new short shifter which will locate it's self due to cut out underneath top section. Then install lower section and new bolts and tighten, simply reconnect gear selector cable
 
In addition to the short shift we would also recommend the shifter bracket bush upgrade. 
 
Available as an add on to this package deal - These small precisely machined aluminium bushes replace the original rubber flexible mounts for your shifter cables. They reduce the movement to zero and so the shifts feel even more precise. – A Well worthy mod while working on the gear selector.
