As part of our expanding Focus RS product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our Stage 1 Gen 3 intercooler upgrade suitable for track or fast road use.

 

In order to ensure there is no noticeable loss in performance during extended periods of hard driving, we have developed an even better version of our first ST intercooler that we originally released back in 2005. The Generation 3 features a 60mm bar and plate core, smoother cast end tanks for better flow and improved strength.

 

Our solution to increasing the intercooler’s size and performance within the confines of the limited space behind the bumper is based upon a 60mm core that’s twice as high and almost 100mm longer than the standard item.

 

This offers a massive increase in overall capacity in comparison to the original intercooler, as well as a 127% increase in frontal area over standard, which allows it to make the most of the air flow provided.

 

Together with our high-flow end tanks ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume over standard.

Comes complete with all fixtures and fittings.
