The New RoadSport Direct Fit Intercoolers for the Fiesta 1.0 Turbo has arrived at OC Motorsport.
Designed speciallly for use in fast road and track applications we believe the new unit will lead on Power and Performance and is the Ultimate High Flow Intercooler kit.

We have reduced flow restrictions by using only 45 degree bends not 90 degrees
We have maximised flow capacity by adding a huge 55mm x 500mm wide core.

Why does my EcoBoost need an Intercooler?
The standard Fiesta 1.0 Turbo intercoolers are side mounted alongside the radiator and hidden behind a huge crossmember (not good for air flow).Its not a true Front Mount and as we have prooved in testing a weakspot on the car when wanting to push power hard from the very small turbo.
Lower Temps and a higher flow rate through this vertical flow cooler are known to add power, so the design team at Pumaspeed broke away from convention with horizontal flow and chose a vertical type core with a massive crosssectional flow rate to enhance the in time cooling ability.
Why Vertical Flow Intercooler?
There are 2 very important reasons.
Space available and efficiency. (Bigger is not allways the better)
There is very little space to place any intercooler at the front of the 1.0 EcoBoost Fiesta so whatever design has to have a good crossectional area to flow and must use that space to cool as efficiently as possible.
The long tapered end tanks have a huge 55mm x 500mm cross section area resulting in virtually zero flow loss and 'long air in tube' times which makes a massive difference to charge temperatures and presure drop.
As long tubes give a higher presure drop and as most of the cooling is done in the first 5 inches of the tube we make the tube length quite short at 9 inches.
The results are very impressive, torque leaps up and power at the very top end is raised significantly.
